Delivery FAQ’s

What are your delivery charges?

Delivery charges are dependent on the location and service which you have selected at checkout. Please refer to the Zones above, and in particular, the postcodes in selected zones for pricing information.

Do I pay for delivery for each item ordered?

You can be confident that you will only pay one delivery charge per order regardless of how many items you order. Delivery charges will be made clear on the checkout page before payment is taken.

Where do you deliver?

We deliver to the mainland UK, (England, Wales and Scotland), Scottish Highlands & Islands inclusive of Outer Hebrides, Orkney, and Shetland. As well as, the Isle of Wight, Isle of Man and Scilly Isles.

Do you deliver to The Channel Islands?

No. Unfortunately at this time, we do not accept orders from The Channel Islands (Guernsey GY, Jersey JE).

Are your delivery timescales guaranteed?

We will always aim to deliver items that are currently in stock within the timescales as indicated above. While we guarantee 100% our ability to process orders as detailed above. We cannot guarantee that they will be delivered within those timescales. External factors like; adverse weather, peak seasons and/or delivery location, can sometimes impact the delivery timescale that is beyond our control.

Could I expect delays if I live in a remote area or on an island?

Consignments delivered to remote areas of Scotland, Wales, Cornwall, Northern Ireland and Offshore Islands may be subject to a further 2/3 days delay with some couriers, and possibly longer with other couriers due to the location. We carefully select reputable and reliable couriers in certain locations, to ensure your goods are received by you as quickly as possible. Please contact us in the event of any misdemeanours and we will do our utmost to resolve them expeditiously.

Do you offer parcel tracking?

Upon your purchase, all orders are sent using tracked delivery and you will receive your tracking details once dispatch has been confirmed. For most orders, you will receive a text message on the morning of your delivery, providing you with a 2-hour delivery window (subject to the selected courier).

Please make sure you have entered the correct mobile number during checkout to receive text message updates.

Do I have to be home to receive my parcel?

As a tradesman, we understand you have work to do, and occasionally you are not able to meet the delivery driver to receive your goods. If you are happy for your goods to be left in a “safe place” and at your own risk, then please provide this information in the “delivery instructions” area on the checkout page. If the delivery driver deems the designated safe spot as hazardous/unsafe, he/she may exercise discretion and leave the parcel with a neighbour or local post office. Keep an eye on the tracking for any updates.

How will my goods be packaged?

We care about our environment and planet, and have very strong ethics on “waste”. The actual components you have ordered will arrive in the “original” packaging which you would expect if the goods were delivered directly from the manufacturer. There may be occasions where we deem that additional packaging is required, in the main, for component protection. In these instances, we have a “re-use” policy. Whereby we re-use the packaging that comes to us. This helps limit waste in landfills, as quite often these types of products cannot be recycled or composted.

How do I qualify for FREE delivery?

Free delivery is available when you have met the monetary value as set out above. Free delivery is on “Standard” delivery services only.

Can I collect my items?

No, sadly we do not have a retail outlet at the moment. But this may change in the future.
